Healthcare

We have the best healthcare in the world, but we have unequal access to it. A few years ago I nearly died and spent more than 3 weeks in a hospital. If I wasn't lucky enough to have a great insurance plan, I don't know what I'd be doing or where I would be, but I know I would be broke. Too few people have access to our amazing healthcare systems we have in Minnesota.

We also need to do what we can to prevent some small things from becoming big things with preventative healthcare ideas like: Nutrition, Exercise, better Mental health and strengthening our communities. This amazing community came together to help me and my family in a time of need and I am better off because of the community I live in.

Expanding access to healthcare by increasing eligibility in programs that help prevent people from going broke because of seeking medical care can only benefit our community. This is an issue that is near and dear to my heart and I am going to work hard to make sure nobody has to declare bankruptcy because they wanted to live.
